Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Delhi

Meeting and assistance on arrival at the airport, garlanding on arrival, our representative will meet to welcome and escort you by a private chauffeur driven car and transfer to your pre-booked hotel.

Small introduction about Delhi, Delhi is the capital city of the Federal Republic of India. It is one of India’s fastest growing cities. It has sprawled over the West Bank of the river Yamuna, straddling the river. Delhi blends an historic past and a vibrant present. Delhi has some of the finest museums in the country. New Delhi was proclaimed the capital of India by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944) & is tree-lined & spacious. Legend has it that the Pandavas, the august heroes of the epic Mahabharata, originally founded Delhi, then called Indraprastha, around 1200 B.C. Present Day Delhi is built around the ruins of seven ancient cities.
You can relax after a long flight & if time permits you can enjoy walk around the hotel.

Day 2 Delhi (Full Day Guided Tour of Delhi)

Today we take you for a guided tour of Old Delhi, drive the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad, Visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best-known mosque in India. Later we walk down or take a rickshaw ride through Chandi Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan. Only photo stop at Red Fort.
In New Delhi, we visit Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948. Further we drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. President’s House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy’s House & served as the residence of the Governor-General of British India. We will also visit Humayun’s Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Qutub Minar, built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar & its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After Delhi tour come back to hotel & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 Delhi – Amritsar (By flight)

In time transfer to airport to board flight for Amritsar. After arriving and checking into a hotel near the checking into a hotel, travelers can briefly relax before heading out to one of the most unique experiences near Amritsar.
In the afternoon, a drive of about 30–40 minutes takes visitors to Wagah Border, located on the international border between India and Pakistan. Every evening, the famous Beating Retreat ceremony takes place here, where soldiers from both countries perform a synchronized parade and lower their national flags. The ceremony is known for its high energy, patriotic atmosphere, and enthusiastic crowds, making it a memorable highlight of the trip. Arriving early ensures a good seat and a chance to fully enjoy the event.
After returning to the city in the evening, the next stop is the spiritual heart of Amritsar, the Golden Temple. Illuminated beautifully at night, the temple appears especially serene as it reflects in the surrounding sacred pool known as the Sarovar. Visitors can walk around the complex, listen to the soothing sound of Gurbani (devotional hymns), and experience the famous community kitchen or Langar, where thousands of people are served free meals every day regardless of religion or background.

Day 4 Amritsar - Delhi (By Train)

Morning city tour visiting Golden temple which is located in the heart of the city. The Jallianwala Bagh which is a memorial of the martyrs of the 1919. The Durgiana Mandir that is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga, Baba Atal Rai Tower.

In time transfer to railway station to board train for Delhi. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 5 Delhi – Agra (By surface/ 4 Hours drive)

Morning after breakfast proceed towards Agra. Upon arrival check in to hotel & relax for a while.
Afternoon proceed for the sightseeing tour of Agra visiting Agra Fort, designed and built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., built with barricaded wall of red sand stone; it houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Macchhi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Meena Bazar, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Musamman Burj where from Taj Mahal is visible in all its beauty from one side of the fort. Rest of day is free for Shopping in local market of Agra. Overnight stay in Agra.

Day 6 Agra - Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (By Surface/6 Hours drive)

Morning visit one of most beautiful among the seven wonders of the world: Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal, the architectural modern-day wonder of the world; this monument is a fine example of the fusion of many architectural styles is one of the wonders of the modern world. Taj, endowed it with some of the loveliest buildings in the world.

Later after breakfast drive towards Fatehpur Sikri, (37 kms from Agra), Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty –Fatehpur Sikri built in red sandstone in honour of Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality. Afternoon proceeds towards Jaipur. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 7 In Jaipur

Morning after breakfast explore the Pink City with an excursion to Amer Fort, situated just outside the city, enjoy the experience of elephant ride to reach the fort. Enjoy photography in front of Hawa mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Also enjoy photography in front of Jal mahal a water palace. Visit City Palace situated in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum Jantar Mantar is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Day 8 Jaipur to Delhi (By Surface/6 Hours drive) & Departure from Delhi

Today Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi and transfer to New Delhi International airport to board the flight for onward journey.
