Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Delhi

Meeting and assistance on arrival at the airport, garlanding on arrival, our representative will meet to welcome and escort you by a private chauffeur driven car and transfer to your pre-booked hotel.

Small introduction about Delhi, Delhi is the capital city of the Federal Republic of India. It is one of India’s fastest growing cities. It has sprawled over the West Bank of the river Yamuna, straddling the river. Delhi blends an historic past and a vibrant present. Delhi has some of the finest museums in the country. New Delhi was proclaimed the capital of India by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869-1944) & is tree-lined & spacious. Legend has it that the Pandavas, the august heroes of the epic Mahabharata, originally founded Delhi, then called Indraprastha, around 1200 B.C. Present Day Delhi is built around the ruins of seven ancient cities.
You can relax after a long flight & if time permits you can enjoy walk around the hotel.

Day 2 Delhi (Full Day Guided Tour of Delhi)

Today we take you for a guided tour of Old Delhi, drive the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad, Visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest & best-known mosque in India. Later we walk down or take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort, built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan. Only photo stop at Red Fort.
In New Delhi, we visit Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948. Further we drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. President’s House, the official residence of the President of India, built in the year 1931. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy’s House & served as the residence of the Governor-General of British India. We will also visit Humayun’s Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Qutub Minar, built in the year 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar & its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After Delhi tour come back to hotel & Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 Delhi - Agra (By Surface/ 4 Hours Drive)

Morning after breakfast proceeds towards Agra. Upon arrival check-in to your pre-booked hotel & relax.
Small introduction about Agra, Agra is a historic city located in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, on the banks of the Yamuna River. It is one of India’s most famous tourist destinations because it is home to the world-renowned Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and symbol of love built by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Today, Agra is not only a centre of tourism but also known for its marble handicrafts, leather products, and traditional sweet Petha. The city beautifully reflects India’s rich culture, history, and architectural heritage.

Day 4 Agra

Begin the day with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, the world-famous marble monument built by ShahJahan in memory of Mumtaz Mahal. After breakfast, explore the historic Agra Fort, a magnificent Mughal fortress with palaces and courtyards. Continue to Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, also known as the “Baby Taj,” famous for its intricate marble work. Visit Mehtab Bagh to enjoy scenic views of the Taj Mahal across the Yamuna River. End the day exploring local markets of Agra, known for marble handicrafts and the famous sweet Petha. Overnight stay at hotel

Day 5 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (By Surface/6 Hours Drive)

Morning after breakfast drive towards Fatehpur Sikri, (37 kms from Agra), Old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty –Fatehpur Sikri built in red sandstone in honour of Saint Salim Chisti who foretold the birth of 3 sons to Emperor Akbar, is an example of robust stability combined with originality.  Afternoon drive to Jaipur, popularly known as Pink City, the flamboyant & colourful capital of Rajasthan. With its rich & colorful past, resplendent with tales of valour & bravery, it is now one of the most important heritage cities in India. The city was founded in 1728 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the ruler of Amber. It remains the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe, through nine rectangular sectors.

Day 6 Jaipur

After breakfast we proceed to explore Jaipur city with guide & start the tour from an excursion to Amber Fort, the palace complex which stands to this date was commenced under the reign of Raja Man Singh. We take an Elephant/Jeep ride to reach the Fort situated on the hill, an overwhelming experience. Later we visit the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is a seven-storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens & the city. Further we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 so that veiled royal women could peer down the busy street market unseen by the world through its 593 stone Jharokas (mini windows).  End the day exploring local markets of Jaipur, known for marble handicrafts. Day 7 Jaipur – Delhi (By Road – 6 Hrs Drive)

Morning drive to towards New Delhi. Upon arrival in New Delhi get transferred to New Delhi International airport to board the flight for onward journey.
